Hello, I’m Jack!

Jack is an award winning Akron OH based video producer with a passion for commercial, documentary, music and YouTube based content.

After graduating from the University of Akron (Media Studies 19’) he received a Regional College Production award from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences for his work on ZTV’s Lowdown in 2018. From here, Jack accepted a position as video producer at the building materials company ProVia, collaborating to develop internal and external content with a team of creatives. Projects he developed included social media video campaigns, product showcase videos, longform corporate presentation videos and customer testimonials.

After ProVia, Jack furthered his abilities in the space of instructional video content by joining the team at Expandshare and later Restaurant 365. This company produced a learning managment system (LMS) for restraunts. Jack’s role here helped to create high quality custom content for restaurants looking to increase their operational effecinecy. Here he also perfected his ability to write scripts and storyboard ideas for new videos.

During this time Jack also worked to produce documentary content among other freelance work. The highlight of which being a documentary developed with Narrative Digital Media for Akron Public Schools. The feature focused on the uplifting and inspiring efforts from the Akron lunch ladies to provide food for students during the coronavirus lockdowns of 2020. Jack has also produced spec commercials for local businesses and has pursued his passion for music video production with local artists in the Akron area.
